The courses being offered in the Computer Science Promise will be completed through an external program known as Edmentum.
Guidelines for Participating
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be:
- passing 80% of your current courses
- have 80% of your expected attendance

Course Credit
At the end of the term, course credit will be granted based on the information presented in the Edmentum portal. The student will be given 0.5 credits for each course successfully completed. On the student transcript, the earned score will be reflected.

Probationary Period
There will be a 10-day probationary period. During this probationary period students will be expected to:
If these expectations are met, the student will have the remainder of the term to complete the assigned course.
If these expectations are not met, the student will be withdrawn from the computer science promise for the length of the school term. They may be granted a second opportunity during the following school term.
- Enter verified attendance in the Canvas Portal
- Log into the Edmentum portal regularly
- Successfully complete assigned lessons and work
